This little line is from one of the k3b support sites: dvd+rw-tools - The DVD+RW-Tools are used to burn and format DVD+R(W) and DVD-R(W) media. For DVD+R Double Layer burning version >= 5.20.4.10.8 is required. I will assume that this means that DL disks are supported by k3b as long as your dvd+rw tools are new enough. -- Bryan Phinney
