I think there's an option on a button to scan for zip drives. There is something of a problem still with removable drives and 2.6 kernels, though, as the name for removable drives keeps changing if you unplug and re-plug later. It clears itself in time, though. Still, that's probably your *next* problem, not the current one :-)
