I booted into Windows..loaded my new external modem..loaded like a
dream..re-booted into Linux (After disabling 'Detect New Hardware OS ' in
the BIOS).. it loaded, but then when you get to the point where you kick to
the blue login screen, all I got was a flashing screen and the Num Lock key
light on the keyboard flashing.
I thought it can't be anything to do with the new modem, but as that was the
only change I'd made since my last Linux session, I uninstalled it and
re-booted into Linux..still the same..
Anyone..please..what's happening??
