I've got my external modem up and running now, and Linux identifies it no
problem. One of the free ISP's I use is Freeserve (Sorry for non-UK-ers). I
went to kppp and put in all the details i could from my Freeserve account. I
connected to Freeserve no problem, but when I opened Netscape, All I get is
an 'Unable to connect to server' message..
Any ideas what I've done wrong? I couldn't work out how to put in a DNS
address, as the box was just greyed out..don't know if that would make a
difference.
Also, are all ISP's usable on Linux??
