Now I could configure it well, but using xf86config directly in console
mode, and then it works well in all the modes, be careful! if you try to
configure x windows again in the KDE, it destroys your configuration and
all goes to shit again.

My xfree configuration is this:

        * Mouse PS/2
        * dev: /dev/psaux
        * Standard 102 Keyboard
        * Keyboard Language Spain
        * Monitor horizontal refresh rate: 31.5-47.5 (30-50)
        * Monitor Vertical refresh rate: 50-100
        * Video Card: 561 - S3 Trio 3D
        * Clock: No Clock
        * Xfree Server: XSVGA
        * Video Resolution sets to: 1024x768 in 8bpp & 16 bpp
                                    800x600 in 24bpp & 32bpp
        * and all works fine :))))
