i may as well jump in also.   =)

i like Enlightenment as user.  not the fastest nor best for using less memory, but i'm 
all about the eye candy.

KDE as root, as it's easier to get around...  lots of tools...  more "dummy proof" in 
my mind, and when i'm root i want to do what i need to do & get out before i break 
something.   =)
