I have the same "no print problem" with my HP 690C.  The driver is installed, but
the test page or any other document remains in the print que forever.  I thought
that it could have something to do with the pass-through connector for my
scanner, but this causes no problems for WIN ME.  I made certain that the scanner
was turned on and all other conditions were the same as printing through Windows.
