He is having trouble installing windows after Linux. Lilo complains that there is no valid boot partition. He says his Linux partition is /dev/hda1 and window's is /dev/hda5. It seems he can see the windows partition for linux once he is in linux.
I've responded that windows needs to be installed before Linux, and appear first on the disk.
