Well, I believe those rpms were compiled for the stock 8.1 kernel.  You will 
probably have to download the tarballs or src.rpms and build them to your new 
kernel.

smp is for if you have more than one processor.  There's a little bitty app 
on nvidia's download page that will tell you the packages to install.
