Ronald and Aron are going to fall over in a dead faint but this time I agree
with them.

The EC's solution is to bureaucratize everything and regulate the life out of
it which is the exact opposite of what the Internet is supposed to be. ICANN
is an independent organization that is located in the US not an arm of the US
Government (anymore) and it works with national and regional organizations
around the world. The EC would be happier, I'm sure, it ICANN up and moved
to Geneva.

Bureaucrats, by the way, the world over operate on the theory that if it ain't
broke something is wrong with it.
