This is all becoming clear now. Due to the fact that I downloaded and installed 4.2.0 from binary, I don't need to recompile it again, BUT I need the source tree structure to put the GATOS DRM source into so that IT can be compiled correctly. Since, (as you say) I have a kernel that expects a DRM-enabled kernel, my compilation should be minimized.
Being a newbie, is there a traditional place that I should install the 4.2.0 source to ? Like /usr/src ? Or just to root (ie. it would be /xc/.........)? Thanks again for all the help.
