David - many thanks for your email. I am looking at the Edit screen and have highlighted my object but cannot see the properties dialogue box because I do not seem to have a panel on the right side, only the 'Help' and 'search' panels on the left. Pressing Alt+p has no effect and using a capital 'P' just sets Windows Media Player going! I have attached a screen dump of Edit page screen and hope you can point me in the right direction. I am having difficulty finding info. on using the OSM procedures - is there a manual available somewhere? Regards Tony Grimley

If not then Alt+P will bring it up. When you have selected an object you will see its' tags listed in the properties dialog, and the add / delete / edit buttons allow you to add new tags, edit existing tags, or delete existing tags. Having only used the preset process, I do not know how to enter the information you suggest. Please take me through the procedure. I cannot find a preset item listed to categorise it, add the name and fill the area with the appropriate colour. I use: leisure=nature_reserve natural=whatever name=whatever ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/newbies
