I did the ifconfig thing but I didn't really know what I was looking for and since I don't have internet connectivity under linux (even knoppix), I don't really know what to do. I would think that knoppix would work, but it doesn't either. Anyway, how would I go about checking my services to see whether I bring up my network at boot?

Where would that be in the mandrake control center?
