Sounds like we are getting somewhere. So do you see nvnet in the list when you type lsmod? I'm thinking you should. If you do then you probably just need to re-run the network configuration from within drakconf (I think maybe you can just type drakconnect to start this) and tell it to start your network at boot and use dhcp and all that good stuff. If nvnet is not in the list when you type lsmod, try typing "modprobe nvnet" and then check again. The modprobe command should load the nvnet module.
