Is there something like YUM for Suse?
When I used Suse 9.1, yast had a non-graphical mode that was (I thought) much more effective than the graphical version.
there are several apt repositories for suse, and it works okay, but they are somewhat limited. That was one of the main reasons I switched from Suse.
