Here's a partial answer: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/trench/15408.html Unfortunately, while yast has limited command line options, it isn't nearly as nice as yum. As already mentioned, you can find some apt repositories, although not nearly as many or as complete as those for Fedora. For awhile the community seemed to be drifting toward opencarpet, but I haven't heard any more about that.
