I'd say it's pretty stable, thanks to continuous integration.
Only new areas (Linq, QueryOver, etc) are seeing major changes; everything
else remains compatible with 2.1.2.
That said, sometimes there ARE unintended breaking changes. It doesn't hurt
to try, though.
