What model 1985 Nighthawk had a fuel reserve indicator?? Mine sure doesn't.

My last couple of tanks I've made sure I fill to almost full visually
(almost to the top), try to fill at the same gas station at the same pump
and have had plenty of gas left at 125 miles before I'd even have to go to
reserve. Saturday I was going up a hill, just got to the crest and putt putt
die. No gas at 109 miles on the trip meter. From where I was it was 6 miles
to my usual gas station (.5 mile to the closest one) so I assumed I was fine
since that was my next stop anyway. So that means I got really crappy gas
mileage on that tank. Approx 39 mpg rather than the 45-55 I had been
getting. Not acceptable in my book.
