I just replaced my front springs on my 84 650 with a set from progressive. I
will say it has made a huge difference in the ride. Much more responsive and
no more diving front end when you apply the brake. It almost seem likeThe
rears are better now. You do not need to replace any seals or anything. Just
remove the caps on top of the forks and the springs will pop out. You may
have to change the size of the spacer on top of the spring(I did) just
follow the chart that comes with the springs. You can use schedule 40 PVC
pipe if you need a new size. 1" diameter is probably the size. Wynn    On
