The schematic at http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1982-honda-motorcycle-cb450sc/o/m14678 shows two bulbs in each of the two instrument clusters so I think it unlikely they have all burned out. More likely a wiring/fuse problem. I have a 84 CB650SC with an entirely different single instrument cluster so I can't help much.
Do all the other circuits and light work OK? However, I'm looking at doing some longer day trips in the next few weeks and that will probably entail some riding after dark. Perhaps multiple hours worth. My gauge lights don't work. I know that it is probably a simple bulb replacement - but - frankly - I don't want to tear into the bike and attempt to fix them with everything else working fine. Perhaps this winter I'll get to it. So - how do I temporarily light up my gauges at night?? Any suggestion (within reason!) is welcome! Thanks! -Joey 82 CB450 SC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
