Bugs don't worry me as much as birds. Back in Venezuela there is this road famous for having a lot of small birds flying from one side to the other. They have a pretty good reaction to avoid moving cars, although it depends on the traveling speed. I friend of mine and I found out that the critical speed was about 185 kph, while I was driving his truck one day and one of the birds hit the windshield. It sounded like it almost broke the glass, and there was blood and feathers all over. It hit us so hard that it got stuck between the windshield, wipers and hood, so you could see his little eyes looking us through the glass. My buddy's girlfriend couldn't stop crying, and we (sadly, I have to admit), couldn't stop laughing.
