I have an 82 450 - and I can confirm that the key is the
same. I'd also say that the helmet lock might not actually be keyed at
all - just looking for the right shape of key. If you get one cut to
fit the ignition, it will work in the helmet lock.
Oh and same for the gas cap :-)
