+1 battery is being over charged. I'd get one of those timers used to turn no/off lights and plug your charger into that, set it for 2 hours a day. Or get a better trickle charger. Make sure the tube is routed such that the drip does not fall on the swingarm (which will peel the paint in short order), or on the muffler or pipe (it will stain chrome).
