Hi Guys

I want to put a gas filter on my 1986 Nightgawk 450.
Any information that I get will be appreciated. I assume it will go in
the line that goes straight down from the shut off valvue to the left hand
carb. The line is tight against the carb. So if I cut the line and install
the filter. It will stick out like a sore thumb.
What kind and shape filter should I put on it. And how should I route the
line.? If someone has a picture of how they did theres, That would be
great.
Also, there is a fitting on the front side of the shut off valvue that
has no hose going to it. There is also a fitting on the bottom of the right
carb that has no hose going to it. should there be a hose connedting those
two fittings.? There is a small hose that is not connected to anything on
top. But it just hangs down and out the bottom of the bike.I think that
hose should be hooked to the fitting on the valvue. but am not sure of
anything. The bike runs fine?
As usual you guys have been a great help to someone just getting
started. thank you. Fred
