Maybe so, I'm not an engineer. I just wanted to state it so that the OP
knows and can research and decide for them selves. After seeing Javier run
radials for a good 5 years, I'm convinced that the Nighthawk rims can take
it. I'm guessing it is more of a consern with the older bike rims which are
not as well constructed/poor metallurgy.
