First of all glad you are OK. Here in CA where splitting is not illegal, I go to the front every time. When I can't get through, I stop at an angle so I can turn around and watch people stop. Most people stop when they see my head turn around. Maybe having the blacked out face shield makes me look meaner? In California, cars like to creep, drivers keep moving forward, ready to go, so often you have to look back again to keep them in their place. Stopped at an angle, I feel I'm ready to get from in between the 2 cars if the oncoming doesn't slow down. But nothing is 100%.
