My new one is in the mail. Should be here on Monday. I cleaned both the contact surfaces of the o ring and the metal under the cover. Got a little bit of (residual) oil seep afterwards but it didn't drop throughout my 30 mile ride tonight so far. Hopefully she's ok. You say crankshaft seal?
