Thank you for the reply. I have also thought of the fuel filter, so I will
check that. And you are the second person to tell me to check the petcock
to carb line, which I will also attempt to do. I felt really bad that I was
abusing the starter, if it happens again I think I can just walk away for a
while and not have a temper tantrum (again!)
 The airbox is stock, I checked the air filter a couple months ago, it
looked clean and new, not sure if it's stock, but probably not. I don't
know what you mean by the boots?
Fairly certain it was not electrical, not the kill switch, not yet anyway.
Thanks for the idea about chrome engine guards.
