Well, I was becoming more and more upset until you came to my rescue.
Though I found no default shortcut for Format > Size > Increase /
Decrease in the Preferences>Menu Keys, I followed your advice, and
now everything is right --but there is no telling the time I
foolishly lost trying to find out what the problem was, and where it
came from!

I don't recall whether I set these shortcuts myself, but you might
check Nisus Writer Express > Preferences: Menu Keys to confirm that
the shortcut is what you think it is -- or change it to something
that you prefer.
