This is an interesting thing.  You are right in a way, but also wrong.
In free software, the user-developer interaction is much stronger than
in the proprietary world, but that places a bigger responsibility on
the user as well.

At the moment you are not fulfilling that responsibility, and just
expect the developers to do all the work.

That's fine, but then don't expect the developers to fulfill _their_
responsibility towards you as a user.
