Sure. It's a stripped down FUSE. Currently it's 50% smaller than what we 
used but in the long term it will be under 20%.

There are many more benefits and I can't see flexibility loss, actually 
just the opposite ;-) I did plan to write about those later on the ntfs-3g 
lists.

Yes, just removing what we don't need and adding the tested FUSE fixes and 
new features faster, so hopefully there will be somewhat less pressure on 
Miklos and maybe he can better focus on more important things.
