I even checked the TeXLive setup files. Anyway, Even if you have the afm files, I suspect you have to buy Garamond: http://semantics-online.org/geek/2003/09/how_to_install_adobe_garamond_for_latex Adam Lndsay has some comments there; maybe he knows something about this? But if you find another way let me know!
