I also assumed that there would be a better way, but when I Googled
"mediawiki export static html", this was the only non-abandoned option
that I could find, although I might have missed something. It looks like
this is also what Wikipedia uses

which suggests that there may not be a better solution.

I think that the ConTeXt Wiki is small enough that this shouldn't make a
huge difference either way---after compression, I'd be very surprised if
it were larger than the default ConTeXt installation.

If we're able to export it to static HTML, there are tons of places that
we can host it for free, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. But
GitHub has a relatively low limit on the number of files/size of
individual files/total repository size that we _might_ run into (but
probably not).
