My mistake, see other mail.
\barcode seems to have lost the ability to generate ean13 with
extensions (ean13+5, 13+2).
i did change something after the discussion on the list and irr you
mentioned that this worked
Also my mistake: \barcode from zint module conflicts with native \barcode
