Hi Luca,
The old ntop version is not installed on my system;
# dpkg --list | grep ntop
ii nbox 2.1-192 Web
management interface for ntop apps.
ii ntopng 1.1.2-7559
Web-based traffic monitoring.
ii ntopng-data 1.1.2-7559
Data files (geoip) for ntopng.
ii pfring 6.0.1-7559
PF_RING (http://www.ntop.org/pf_ring/)
root@:/etc/ntopng# ps aux | grep nprobe
root 12898 0.0 0.0 9396 928 pts/0 S+ 09:10 0:00 grep
--color=auto nprobe
root 24868 0.5 0.3 400660 16076 ? Sl Apr29
21:46 /usr/local/bin/nprobe /tmp/[email protected]
root@:/etc/ntopng# ps aux | grep nptop
root 12911 0.0 0.0 9396 924 pts/0 S+ 09:11 0:00 grep
--color=auto nptop
I've moved ntopng to the port 4000 to avoid "collisions", but it is also
not working:
root@:/etc/ntopng# ntopng ntopng.conf

02/May/2014 09:05:09 [HTTPserver.cpp:371] ERROR: Unable to start HTTP
server (IPv4) on port 4000
My error is hitting the line 371. There is any possibility to check what
the function at line 371 is doing?
Thanks in advance!
Daniel
