My guess is that it wasn't that "there was no one to land it", but rather as low as
they were flying, when a fight broke out, the plane dove and no one had time to pull
it up. From all reports the plane was flying EXTREMELY low and "suddenly" shot down
and exploded. I don't believe that they overpowered it and then didn't even try to
get someone through talking them down. I think the fight started and it was
continuing on right up until the moment of ground contact. My thoughts.

What I heard was that the passengers on that plane had heard the news
of what happened to the other hijacked plane and knew what was planned for
them so they took control of the plane but there was no one to land it.
They passengers of the first two did not know what they were in for so
they were more passive.

Not correct about being downed by a missile unless you're a huge conspiracy
theorist. Eyewitnesses to the plane crash in PA said the plane went in
sounding "normal", i.e. the engines were running, no fire, etc.

I am probably going to p a few folks off with this one, but think of
this. That last plane went down 1 hour and 15 minutes after the first
plane hit the WTC. I smell a cover up with that 4th plane. My gut
screams at me that the US Gov't decided that those people on that plane
were about to be killed no matter what. The plane was in the middle of
nowhere when it went down. I don't think the US had any choice but to
shoot that plane down, and it is something they can never, ever admit to
either, even if the sacrifice of those lives equaled the preservation of
potentially thousands of people.
Second, shooting a gun off on a plane is akin to suicide. If the bullet
goes out of the fuselage, the plane will depressurize, which jeopardizes
the 'mission' in the first place. Also, I think it would be
significantly harder for these guys to get guns on as opposed to knives.

There is evidence that the plane that crashed in PA had just that
happen.
