Have
you checked your NIC settings recently? If it is on autodetect, it may
have failed over to 10mb half duplex. I highly recommend hard coding both
the NIC and the switch port appropriately rather than depend on
autodetect.

Subject: RE: Backup SlowDouble-check that you have not accidentally added a duplicate job. That happened for us, in redoing the backup schedule. If you thought you changed a job, you may have implemented another job instead, that is running right after the first one.Do you have any event log viewer messages? Have you been running the Backup Exec remote agent? Maybe the service has stopped or is conflicting with another service, which would definitely increase time.Just some things we've run into from time to time.Kelly GoshInformation Systems ManagerBrilliance Audio, Inc.Phone: 616.846.5256 ext. 704Fax: 616.846.0630Want to unsub? Subject: Backup SlowHello, we backup our servers with a Dell DLT 7000 7 Slot Tape Drive, using Veritas Backup Exec. Ver. 8. For some strange reason it is taking double the amount of time to backup than it used to. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
