Can ESX support 64 vCPUs or 4TB RAM per guest yet? Or 64 hosts per cluster? Seems like there are all sorts of corner cases where one product has functionality the other doesn't yet. For 99% of things they are feature compatible. It's all about the management and operations tools now. Hypervisors are almost commoditised, and will be within the next version or two.
