Vipre for me stands out for two reasons:

1. As written before, CPU/mem load is small except for deep scans;.
2. The console is very easy to use. Clean, self-explanatory tabs. I also like
the ability to create custom policies. It's great to be able to tweak a couple
of settings, call it a new policy and move specific devices to the newly
created policy.

And another thing, documentation seems to be much better. This after a quick
look at Vipre documentation and going through an in depth look at Ninja
documentation. If ePO had this kind of documentation (ie easy to
read/understand and logically arranged) it might not have been such a burden to
administrate.

here…we switched from SAV 11 to Vipre Enterprise (and got an equal # of

+2 or is that +3 now.
Whatever, just got my license keys for Vipre and Sunbelt's sales team will
likely (said in a 'Godfather' like voice) make you an offer you can't
refuse.

Deep scans from McAfee weren't allowed on my servers because it would absolutely
bring the server to a screeching halt, which is not good.

Just made my desktop guys so happy today that they were about to give me hugs
when I showed them in writing that Vipre Enterprise will remove McAfee
automatically. Most of the IT people that I work with have switched
to Vipre even though we have a free home use of McAfee....

How 'bout our sponsor's product (VIPRE)?

Sales is trying to undercut -er- make
competitive pricing for switching from other products. Centralized
control is great...

Despite claims of low load, running a deep scan will
pretty much make a system unusable for the duration (but competitors will
probably do the same).
