I used to say years ago that if CA antivirus was any good it would immediately remove itself from any workstation it was installed on.

Deep scans from McAfee weren't allowed on my servers because it would absolutely bring the server to a screeching halt, which is not good. Just made my desktop guys so happy today that they were about to give me hugs when I showed them in writing that Vipre Enterprise will remove McAfee automatically. Most of the IT people that I work with have switched to Vipre even though we have a free home use of McAfee....
