I acually get paid to remove Symantec security products from PC's and networks! :-)
In the same way Microsoft gets targeted by malware writers so does NAV. I have have seens huindreds of systems getting awfully infected while running it. But in circumstances which online backup is not viable I use BackupExec and have been happily doing so for more than 12 years.
