You can pretty much bet if you just leave it up to your users, they are
going to get the wrong plan.

We supply BB's to about 90% of our staff, so it isn't a problem, but for the
other 10%, if they want to get their own BB and pay for it, we will give
them a free ride on BES if they ask. 

If they talk to me about it first, I'll tell them what plan to get (BB
Enterprise Plan), but when they just walk up with one I usually have to send
them back to call their carrier. 

Frankly once you have activated 80 other devices and that "one" that some
user has provided wont activate, you know what the problem is.

Now company provided activation issues? I got a bunch of different reasons
for that! J

I had the same exact thing happen to me the other day. Phone would not
initialize. Was a users own plan and he did not have BES provisioning on it.
Once we call and got that sorted, worked like a charm.
