Two old golfing buddies who had played together for decades were coming up
the 13th hole at the local muni. The 13th borders a highway and as they
reached the green a funeral procession motored by. One of the golfers took
off his hat and respectfully kept his head down until the last car had
passed. When he looked up and put his hat back on his friend said, "That
was the most civilized, most respectful thing I've ever seen you do." To
which the first golfer replied, "Well, she was a darn good wife."
