Catalyst 2950s are layer 2 only. For a 1U layer 3 switch you are looking at a 3550, 3560 or 3750.
If you run the absolute latest a 2960 will route IPv4 between VLANs - static only, no RIP OSPF BGP etc. On 1/24/2011 10:42 AM, Steve Ens wrote: > I've not much experience with Cisco gear, but is it possible to route > two different subnets on a Cisco 2950 switch?
