Definitely does on Linux. Linux distributions which build for other architectures build all their packages for that architecture. So if you're running an x86-64 Linux distro, every single package for that distro will be 64-bit. The office suites, the IM programs, the audio players, everything. It's a far cry from the land of Windows, where even Microsoft is still trying to work out the kinks, let alone third-parties. Haven't looked for Firefox for Win64... a quick Google makes it look like it's in early beta testing right now. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
