But I have seen that command before, from VMware Tech Support. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing what that guy is seeing ... the only non-driver VIBs I am seeing as installed is rpm_hpsmh_6.3.0-22@x86_64 All others are uninstalled or retired. I tried this "You can also unpack the hpmgmt-8.6.0-vmware4x.tar package and use it to unistall the lower version." but that also doesn't work, telling me that "Bulletin not found". I think I will try re-installing those RPMs from the cache, and try installing the earlier 8.6.0 again ... Thanks for all the help.
