Use the ReflectMat as the material on the objects you want to see the reflections in - the reflections should show up using a Phong material but they won't layer properly in Z if you have multiple ReflectionCards overlapping.
Then attach the ReflectionCard light to the same Scene as the objects, attach the texture you want to reflect to the ReflectionCard, and place it in the 3D viewer. You should leave single-sided off until you get the placement/orientation correct. SInce you won't see the reflection in OpenGL you'll have to place it roughly and judge the result in the render. -jonathan On Apr 4, 2013, at 12:17 PM, Pat Wong wrote: > hi johnathon, > > > ive just installed your relfct Mat and reflection cards , but a little unsure > on how to use them coudl please give me a run down, or a sample script. to > show how they work thanks, > > > patrick > > > > > On 25 March 2013 10:33, Jonathan Egstad <[email protected]> wrote: > You can also try the ReflectionCard & ReflectMat plugins on nukepedia. > > -jonathan > > On Mar 25, 2013, at 9:45 AM, Deke Kincaid wrote: > >> You can fake this by setup up a camera to render from the reflection point >> and then re-project that render back onto the surface.
