The debug_min option is part of NUT 2.8.0, and your driver "screenshot" was from 2.7.4.

With older releases, you should manually ensure several `-D` options on the driver command line to increase verbosity.

Hi Jim,

Thanks a lot. Is there any way to tell upsdrvctl to add the -D option when it starts the specific driver on that older version? I tried adding -D to upsdrvctl (in its systemd unit), to no avail.

Thanks,

Pavel.

    I tried to increase debug_min = 10 in non-driver/global section of
ups.conf and no extra logs appeared in /var/log/syslog. Neither did
    with
debug_min = 0 or 1, no effect. I do not know if the number should be
high or low, could not find it in any docs online.

    Thanks a lot,

    Pavel.
