June 18 , 2012

Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     6/24: A male RUFF in molt was found and photographed at Puddler’s Marsh. 
It was relocated and seen well today at the same location. It is still being 
seen at 6:00. Also seen were LESSER YELLOWLEGS, SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER and PEEP.


Oswego County
------------

     6/18: A CERULEAN WARBLER was found on Co. Rt. 51 near Mexico.
     6/19: A late SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER was seen at Sandy Pond.
     6/24: 2 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS, a LEAST BITTERN, four COMMON RAVENS 
and 2 VIRGINIA RAILS were seen on the County Rt.6 wetland north of Route 3.
 

Oneida County
------------

     6/24: One RED CROSSBILL was found at the intersection of Rt.28 and 
Hawkinsville Road. Four more RED CROSSBILLS were seen on Lake Julia Road.
