I love my Asus 1000H. It's running XP with 2GB RAM but next time I
rebuild it I'll put Ubuntu on it, and as long as I don't pretend it's
a Photoshop machine it's fine. Xampp gives me a server on board, the
keyboard is just big enough to be practical , and IT feels sturdy and
small enough to carry around without worrying, which means that I do
actually carry it around and use it a lot more than my old notebook
(15.4"). With Nokia PC suite it plays happily with my new 5800 making
me completely mobile and connected almost anywhere. 5 hours on the
battery with light use is good too.
